On the same day in which OKWU's women's soccer program jumped to #8 in the latest NAIA Coaches' Poll and set a new benchmark for the program, the Lady Eagles hit the road to face KCAC foe Southwestern. An early goal gave OKWU the lead, and they finished the match with a 1-0 victory.

Recap:

• Marjolen Nekesa scored a goal in the 2^nd minute of action to put the Eagles in front 1-0.
• That would be the entirety of the scoring output for the remainder of the game, however. Neither team could break through the opposing defense for the rest of the evening.

• Nerea Perez Mora put together yet another shutout win, earning 2 saves along the way. She now has 9 shutouts on the season.
