In one of the Eagles' best offensive performances of the season, they went on the road and put up 87 points against Avila. For the game, the Eagles shot better than 51% from the field, including 37% from beyond the arc, and played their trademark strong defense to pull away from Avila in the second half. The Eagles won 87-55.  

Recap:

• The Eagles exploded for 46 points in the first half, shooting 58.1% from the field in the period and 46.2% from 3-point land. Avila had a strong first half of their own, scoring 35 points and making 9 shots from downtown to keep themselves in the game. Kaleb Stokes had 12 first half points to lead the Eagles.
• In the second half, OKWU's defense tightened, holding Avila to just 22% shooting. Though OKWU did cool down slightly on the offensive end, they still shot nearly 46% from the field in the second half to roll, winning the period 41-20.

Now the Numbers:

• OKWU dominated on the glass, outrebounding Avila 49-29 and limiting Avila to just 6 second chance points in the contest.
• OKWU's bench, a strength of the squad, scored 42 points on the afternoon.
• Kaleb Stokes scored 18 points and added 4 rebounds for the Eagles.
• Three other Eagles scored in double-figures: Brandon Bird (14), Kazden Ammons (14), and Jaden Lietzke (11) were vital pieces of the OKWU offensive attack.
