Oklahoma Wesleyan University men's basketball faced Kansas Wesleyan University Coyotes on February 24, 2021 for a quarterfinal match-up for the KCAC tournament. Both teams kept fans on their feet the entire game as they fought back and forth throughout both halfs. The first quarter ended with a tied score of 24-24; leaving both teams with 20 minutes left of fight. Not only was the second half a nail biter, but the eagles had to come back from a 10-point deficient early in the second half to take the win against the coyotes; ending the game 63-64.
The point leaders of the game go out to Kaleb Stokes (OKWU) and Brayden White (KWU) with 17 points each. On the defensive side, Taylen Miller came in clutch with 4 steals and 3 assists. The Oklahoma Wesleyan Eagles are set to play on February 27 against the Ottawa University Braves for the KCAC tournament semi-finals.
