A rocky start in the first half was quickly forgotten in the second, as OKWU overcame an early deficit on the road Wednesday and cruised to their 20^th win of the season. They also picked up the season sweep of KCAC foe Kansas Wesleyan with the 85-56 victory.

Recap:

• KWU jumped out to a hot start in the games opening minutes, building a 12-2 lead as the Eagles' struggled to score early.
• OKWU finally found some rhythm about halfway through the opening half, taking the lead at the 9:18 mark after Kaleb Stokes hit a 3-pointer.
• With 2 minutes in the first, KWU tied the game at 32, but OKWU rallied in the final moments and ended the half with a 38-32 lead.
• The second half was a different story, as OKWU's offense was in full force. The Eagles started the half with 21 straight points as the lead ballooned to 59-32.
• The Eagles were comfortable for the remainder of the game, pulling away and winning 85-56.

• Brandon Bird led the Eagles with 17 points. He added 6 boards and 2 steals as well.
• The Eagles' bench proved key again, scoring 41 points led by Dylan Phillip (13) and Kaleb Stokes (11).
• The Eagles shot 50% from the field for the game.
• OKWU outrebounded KWU 45 to 26.
