Box Score Bartlesville, OK – The Women's Volleyball team was home on October 12th for a match-up against the KCAC newcomer the Evangel University Valor. Looking to remain in the top 3 of the KCAC standings, the Lady Eagles needed a win against the Valor, and in high fashion.
Taking the first set 25-17, the Lady Eagles opened up on a strong note. Taking the second set in the same way, the Lady Eagles took the 2-0 lead over the Valor and looked to close up the match in the third. This was until the Lady Valor rallied together to take the third set from the Lady Eagles in a complete turnaround, taking the third 25-23. Heading into a fourth set, the Lady Eagles were back in a smooth rhythm. Completely taking control of the game and ending the set 25-10.
Offensively, the Lady Eagles were fierce on the night; with 4 athletes with double digit kills. Daisy Scott (12), Makaila Keith (14), Tijana Stojijlkovic (11), and Evelyn Rohrberg (15) were superb in the front row for the Lady Eagles, combined for 52 kills of the 63 on the night.
Sophomore setter, Sydney Collins had herself another excellent night, with 56 of the 60 team's assists. Another standout, Andjela Micunovic held her own as the libero for the Lady Eagles with 27 digs and 3 assists on the night.
With the win over the Lady Valor, the Lady Eagle's improved to 17-4 on the season, and 5-1 in the KCAC.

The Lady Eagles are set to face off against top KCAC opponent, the Kansas Wesleyan University Coyotes on October 14th here in Bartlesville. Pack the stands and be loud for your women's volleyball team, the fun starts at 3:30 PM.
