Box Score Point Lookout, MO – The RV Women's Volleyball team was on the road for a midseason nonconference match-up with the College of the Ozarks Lady Bobcats. Facing of with the Lady Bobcats early on in the season, the Lady Eagles looked to defeat them once again and improve overall in order to move up in the national standings.
Heading into the match 20-4, the Lady Eagles defeated the Lady Bobcats in 3 sets; improving to a 21-win total on the year thus far.
A back and forth battle between the two teams in the first set resulted in a 25-20 win in favor of the lady Eagles. The Lady Eagles were not complacent with the 5-point lead in the first set and went on to completely dominate the second set, outscoring the Lady Bobcats 25-14. With one set to go, the Lady Eagles were in complete control; defeating their opponent 25-18 and taking the overall win.
Maddy McKinney had herself a night, ending the game with 10 kills, McKinney hit a whopping .412 hitting percentage to lead the Lady Eagles. Joining McKinney, Daisy Scott ended the night with 11 kills, while Evelyn Rohrberg earned 12. Defensively, Andjela Micunovic was superb for the Lady Eagles, with 18 digs she controlled the back-row play for her team.
