Box Score Bartlesville, OK – The RV Women's Volleyball team was in Bartlesville on October 28th for the final run of their KCAC regular season play; facing off against the Tabor College Bluejay's. Finding themselves in the top spot in the KCAC, the Lady Eagles would need to defeat the Bluejay's and find a smooth rhythm heading into their final 2 matches of regular season.
Working with a 3-0 lead to start the first set, the Lady Eagles looked confident and in control; taking the first set 25-16 over the Bluejays. With a 9-point win in set 1, the Lady Eagles kept the momentum on their side of the court in the following set. Taking the second set 25-15, the Lady Eagle's took control of the set going on a 5-0 run mid-set, keeping the Bluejays in the single digits until they scored 16 points.
The final set of 3 was all Lady Eagles once again, ending the match with 5 points off the serve of Maria Luisa Caycedo. Capping the game and earning a sweep, the Lady Eagles took the final set 25-18 and improved to 10-1 in KCAC play.
Maddy McKinney had herself another dominant night with 11 kills on 17 attempts, McKinney hit a whopping .733%. Along with McKinney, Evelyn Rohrberg was stellar for the Lady Eagles, ending her night with 18 kills against the Lady Bluejays. Defensively, Andjela Micunovic & Daisy Scott were excellent; combining for 31 digs.
