The #7 Men's Basketball team was on their home court on November 18th as they hosted the Ottawa University Braves for their 2nd KCAC match-up of the year. Heading into the match 6-0, the Eagles looked to keep their winning streak alive and put up a fight against the Braves.
The entirety of the 40 minutes played was a back and forth battle between both teams. With both teams having a lead throughout both halves, the Braves kept the Eagles on their toes are were defensively on point. Overcoming a good defense, the Eagles ended the 1st half with a 35-31 lead, led by a 10-point half from Jaden Lietzke.
A 24-point second half from both teams allowed the Eagles to take the 59-55 win over the Braves, improving to 7-0 on the season. Jaden Lietzke led the Eagles with 16 points scored and 6 rebounds earned. The Eagles outrebounded the Braves 33-26 which gave them more second chance scoring runs and points scored. 10 Eagles put up points against the Braves, which enabled them to earn a solid home team win.
