Starting the match off on top, the Lady Eagles went on a 7-1 run and eventually taking the first of 4 sets. Set two was a back and forth rally between the two teams, fighting back from behind and scoring 4 straight points was not enough for the Lady Eagles; falling to MACU in set two. After the fall, the Lady Eagles came together and took the next two sets; clenching the first win of the season.

Coming of a season opener and win, the Lady Eagles were on first throughout game two of the invitational. Outing their opponent's .360 to .097, the Lady Eagles offense was explosive through the 3 set victory.
