Bartlesville, OK – The #5 Lady Eagles were home for a nonconference, Top 15 match-up with the #15 John Brown University Lady Golden Eagles. Entering the match-up 5-0-1, the Lady Eagles looked to bring the heat and add a win to their record. On the other hand, the Golden Eagles entered the match 5-2 on the year and were eager to face off against a Top 5 opponent in order to move up in the ranks!

Jumping on the board first, John Brown was fierce int eh 19^th minute with a header goal from Lauren Walter, assisted by Remmy Buchanan. Fighting back quickly, OKWU went on to return the goal in the 23^rd minute as Tania Mocholi shot form 10 yards out of the box for a solo goal and to tie the match up 1-1. Both teams being highly competitive and quick to the pitch, the 1^st 45 minutes of play resulted in a 1-1 finish.

With a fast start to the final half, the Lady Eagles put together a scoring drive to score the 3^rd goal of the game, 2^nd OKWU goal of the game and take the lead 2-1. Once again, the opponent answered with their second goal in the 64^th minute from Elisa Bosma, tying the game with 25 minutes left. A constant back and forth battle from both teams, JBU took double the amount of shots than OKWU with 3 minutes left on the clock during a tied ball game. Scoring in the final two minutes of the game, JBU took the lead 3-2 over the Lady Eagles and took the game.
