The #8 Men's Basketball was on the road to begin the second half of their season against the Avila University Eagles.
After a two weeklong break, the Eagles came out hot, scoring 24 points in the first 10 minutes of the game. In addition, the Eagle defense held Avila to a total of 31 points in the first half, resulting in a 44-31 score going into halftime.
After a couple minutes into the second half, the Eagle's offense kept pouring it on, resulting in a 28-point lead after 9 minutes into the second half. Outscoring Avila by 10 points in the second half, the Eagles notched another win with their 77-53 victory.
Jaden Lietzke and Dylan Phillip led the Eagle offense, despite playing just over half the game, with Lietzke scoring 17 points and Phillip 15 points. With every Eagle playing a minimum of 5 minutes, their bench combined for a season high of 28 points.
