Oklahoma Wesleyan to Final Four with 98-87 Win Over LSU Alexandria
Oklahoma Wesleyan punched their ticket to the NAIA Final Four with a strong 98-87 victory over LSU Alexandria.
Jaden Lietzke led the charge with 31 points on 13-of-15 shooting, while also grabbing 13 rebounds in a dominant performance.
Strong Start Sets the Tone
The Eagles came out firing, using their size and efficiency to take control early. They built a 50-38 halftime lead, shooting 50% from the field and controlling the boards.
Nick Bene was a force inside, posting 15 points and 16 rebounds, while
Derrick Talton Jr. added 13 points, six assists, and four steals to spark the offense.
Oklahoma Wesleyan Closes Strong
The Eagles sealed the win at the free-throw line, hitting 23-of-33 second-half attempts to keep LSU Alexandria at bay. Their dominance in the paint showed as they scored 48 points and on the glass with 54 rebounds proved to be the difference.
With this victory, Oklahoma Wesleyan advances to the NAIA Final Four, proving they are one of the top teams in the nation.
