The Eagles found themselves playing catchup after allowing two first-half goals in Thursday's NAIA Quarterfinal match. Their second-half rally came up just short, as they were defeated 2-1 and saw their outstanding season come to a close.

Recap:

• Columbia struck first when Charles Norman scored in the 24^th off the feed from Carter Redford.
• Just 6 minutes later, Joey Spotanski gave the Cougars a 2-0 lead when he scored unassisted.
• At the half, OKWU trailed 2-0.
• OKWU played with much more aggression in the second half, outshooting the Cougars 10-3. However, the Columbia defense held strong for most of the half.
• In the 74^th minute, Stefan Lukic put OKWU on the board after a foul gave him a free kick from just outside the box.
• OKWU would get close again, but a save from Columbia goalie Liam Gibbs in the final minute secured the victory for Columbia and put an end to the Eagles' season.

• OKWU held a 15-7 shot advantage during the match, but only produced 3 shots on goal.
• OKWU finishes the season with a 21-3 total record.
• Lukic's goal was his 13th of the season.
