Bartlesville, OK – The #13 Men's Soccer team faced off against the John Brown University Golden Eagles for the first home game of the 2023-24 season. Both teams started off the game quickly, with a goal from each team within the first three minutes of the match. Ending the first half 3-2 in favor of the Golden Eagles, the Eagles went ahead and scored a goal 8 minutes in, tying the game up 3-3. As the final 10 seconds of a 3-3 game approached, the Eagles put together a scoring drive for the final goal of the game, giving the Eagles the 4-3 lead and win.

Outshooting the Golden Eagles 20-10, the Eagles had 12 shots on goal while their opponents had 5. Stevan Cvetanovic proved to be a force for the Eagles, scoring 2 of the 4 goals on the night and having 5 shots on goal. Vitor Meirinho came through for the Eagles, scoring the final goal of the game with 3 seconds left and doing it unassisted!
