The #6 Volleyball team was on the road October 26^th for a 7:00PM conference match-up against the Evangel University Lady Valor. Entering the match-up 22-1 and 6-0 in conference, the Lady Eagles were set to take on a competitive Lady Valor team who were also undefeated in conference play.

Starting off hot, the Lady Eagles were offensively sound, defeating the Lady Valor 25-14 in the first set. Take the Lady Eagles by surprise, the Lady Valor rose to the occasion and started off the second set with a 6-0 run over the Lady Eagles. Fighting back late in the second set, the Lady Eagles were unable to overcome the deficit and fell to the Lady Valor in set two 22-25.

In need of a momentum shift, the Lady Eagles opened the 3^rd set with a 7-0 run, taking their energy all the way up to a 10. Taking the third set 25-17, the Lady Eagles jumped right back ad took the forth set from the Lady Valor as well.

There were multiple stars in the four-set victory, as the Lady Eagles were superb in every spot on the floor. Three Lady Eagles were in double digit kills, Evelyn Rohrberg (19), Maia Rubio (14), and Mia Lietzke (12) to lead the Lady Eagles at the net all night long. Sydney Collins was once again a force for the Lady Eagles, ending her night with a whopping 50 assist and 16 digs. Along with Collins defensive display, Maria Luisa Caycedo and Maddy McKinney were not messing around as Caycedo capped the night with 26 digs and Maddy McKinney accumulated 10 blocks.

The Lady Eagles improve to 22-1 on the season and remain undefeated as they head into another KCAC match-up against the Kansas Wesleyan University Lady Coyotes this upcoming Friday on the road.
