The #9 Women's Soccer team hosted the Kansas Wesleyan University Lady Coyotes on October 19
th for a top ranked conference match-up. Coming into the match-up 8-0-1, the Lady Eagles were set to face off against a competitive 8-0 Kansas Wesleyan team.
Needing a strong start, the Lady Eagles and the Lady Coyotes were both on their A game through the first 30 minutes of play. Coming off the bench for the Lady Eagles,
Taylor Witthauer used her fresh legs to come in and dominate against the Lady Coyotes, creating momentum and scoring the Lady Eagles first goal of the game with the help of
Tania Mocholi in the 32
nd minute. With a 1-0 lead over the Lady Coyotes, the Lady Eagles ended the 1
st half with energy as they looked to close off the final 45 minutes of play.
Heading into the 2
nd half, the Lady Eagles controlled the ball and maintained strong possessions, giving the Lady Coyotes very little opportunity to drive the ball into their box. A 1-0 game until the 84
