The #4 Men's Soccer team hosed the Sterling College Warriors for a conference match-up and the chance to keep their conference win streak alive. Heading into the match-up 8-1-0, the Eagles were eager to get back on their home field in order close out the week with another conference win.
Starting off on fire, the Eagles were the first to score in a 7-2 game. Scoring in the 11
th minute, the Eagles put together a drive with a miscue from the Warriors with a goal from
Pol Mur, assisted by
Matheus Ulrich. The Eagles turned around and scored 9 minutes later with a goal from Mikita Pakhomov, assisted by both Kirll Pakhomov and
Matheus Ulrich.
The Warriors found some rhythm towards the later half of the 1
st, scoring 2 goals in order to make it a 4-2 game heading into the 2
nd. Coming out of the half, the Eagles were right back in the game, scoring 3 more goal sin order to take the game 7-3. The Eagles outshot the Warriors 29 to 4, with 13 shots on goal and accumulated 6 corner kicks over the Warriors zero.
The Eagles are on the road this upcoming Wednesday, traveling to Wichita, Kansas for a match-up with the Friends University Falcons.
