The #9 Volleyball team hosted the Indiana University East Red Wolves on November 23^rd for the NAIA Tournament 1^st round and a chance to move on to the Tournament Final Site. Hosting their first Opening Round in school history, the Lady Eagles entered the match with excitement and energy, as they went on to sweep the Lady Red Wolves in 3 sets.

Opening up the match in fashion, the Lady Eagles were quick to the punch with a 25-16 win in set one. The closest and most competitive set coming in set two, the Lady Eagles took set 2 28-26, giving them an early lead and giving them momentum to take set 3 25-22.

Emma Stubbs was phenomenal for the Lady Eagles, hitting an impressive .444 with 10 kills on her first start of the 2024 season. Sydney Collins was once again superb in the setter role, accumulating 37 assists and 7 digs as she reached her 3000 career assists mark in this game. The Lady Eagles and the Lady Red Wolves were very similar in kills and digs, as the Lady Eagles outhit the Lady Red Wolves .264 to .177.

With the win, the Lady Eagles advance to the NAIA Tournament Final Site in Sioux City, Iowa as they look to face the McPherson College Lady Bulldogs and the St. Thomas Bulldogs in their bracket.
