November 5^th, the #5 Oklahoma Wesleyan University Men's Basketball team traveled to Fort Worth, Texas, to play the Texas Wesleyan Rams for their final preseason game of the 2024-2025 season.
 
The Eagles ended the first half of the game leading by 8 points, looking strong and consistent in the paint. Coming out of the locker room after the first, the Eagle continued to drive the ball and score against the Rams, until 11 minutes remaining in the game. Picking up their pace and taking control with 11 minutes left, the Rams won with a 10-point lead and a final score of 73-63.
 
Jaden Lietzke led the Eagles with 16 points and 7 rebounds in his 33 minutes of play. Only two points behind Lietzke, Derrick Talton Jr., and Dylan Phillips both finished the game with 14 points. The team shot 70% from the free-throw line and 38.7% in the paint, giving way to a 49.1% field goal percentage from the Rams.
 
The Eagles' next match is Saturday, November 16th, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma where they will face the Tabor Bluejays for their home opener, as well as their conference opener.
