The #9 Women's Soccer team entered the KCAC Tournament as the #1 seed on November 5^th, facing off against the #8 seeded Southwestern College Lady Moundbuilders. Looking to make it back to the Tournament Championship yet again, the Lady Eagles came out firing, taking don their opponent 5-0.

Keeping strong possessions, the Lady Eagles dominated against SWC, scoring 4 goals in the first and 1 in the second. Socring the first goal, Laura Gieseler started right where she left off in her previous outing with a goal in the 4^th minute of play. Giving the Lady Eagles the early lead, Taylor Witthauer joining Gieseler with a goal in the 19^th minute, assisted by Jacey Rupe.

4 different Lady Eagles scored in the 90-minute contest, with Taylor Witthauer leading the pack with 2 goals. The Lady Eagles outshot the Lady Moundbuilders 23 to 1, with 14 of their shots on goal.

The Lady Eagles are back on the field this upcoming Friday for a KCAC Tournament Semi-Finals match-up against the No. 4 seeded Friends University Lady Falcons. Kick-off is set for 5:00PM at Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, Kansas on Friday the 8^th.
