The #2 Men's Soccer team wrapped up regular season play with a perfect 13-0 conference record, and a 17-1 overall record. Entering post season play, the Eagles entered the KCAC Tournament as the #1 seed, hosting the #8 seeded York University Panthers for the KCAC Tournament Quarterfinal on November 6
th in Jenks, Oklahoma.
Looking to start the tournament off strong, the Eagles were quick to the punch, scoring 2 goals in the first 8 minutes of play. Keeping possession of the ball for a large majority of the game, the Eagles were able to force strong drives and maintain a stronger defense against the Panthers. Ending the first half 2-0, the Eagles held a solid lead and looked to build in the final 45 minutes of play.
Doing just that, the Eagles went on to score 2 more goals in the second half, taking home a 4-0 win.
Matheus Ulrich was excellent for the Eagles in his time on the field, scoring the first 3 goals of the game, for a hat trick against the Panthers. Ulrich and
Tylor Guerrero Castillo were in sync while on the field, as Castillo assisted two of Ulrich's three goals.
The Eagles are back in action this upcoming Friday, as they travel to Wichita, Kansas to face off against the Bethel College Threshers in the KCAC Tournament Semi-Final for a 12:00PM kick-off.
