Box Score Wichita, KS –

The #7 Women's Soccer team was on the road to Wichita, Kansas on the November 8^th for the KCAC Tournament Semi-Finals against the 4^th seeded Friends University Lady Falcons. Looking to fight for a chance at the KCAC Tournament Championship, the Lady Eagles needed to be excellent against the Lady Falcons.

A game of absolute grit. 90 minutes of back and forth possessions and opportunity between the two teams resulted in a 0-0 ball game. Headed into the first 10-minute overtime, the Lady Eagles seemed to pick up their pace in order to score the golden goal, but the Lady Falcons defense was stronger than ever. Another scoreless 10 minutes in with the second overtime resulted in the need for a game ending penalty kick face off.

What a show, put on by both goalies as penalty shots were saved left and right. A combined 8 saves from both goalies gave way to a 3-2 penalty kick win by the Lady Falcons.

Unable to advance in the tournament to the championship, the Lady Eagles now await their National Tournament placement, starting November 21^st.
