The Women's Basketball team was on the road for a conference match-up with the Bethel College Lady Threshers. Coming off of an exciting win, the Lady Eagles looked to keep the momentum on their side and put another win on their 2024 record.

Starting off as a back and forth ball game, the Lady Eagles put up 12 in the first quarter while the Lady Threshers put up 14, keeping the game fast and close. Slowing in the second quarter, the Lady Eagles were outscored 22-8, giving way to a 36-20 Lady Thresher lead in conclusion of the first half.

Coming out of the locker room on fire, the Lady Eagles put up a quick 25 points, outscoring the Lady Threshers 25-11 and playing fantastic basketball on both sides of the court. Back in the game with an exciting 3^rd quarter, the Lady Eagles and Lady Threshers were tied 66-66 with 2.7 seconds left in the game. With possession of the ball, the Lady Eagles put the ball in play, unable to score, the Lady Threshers put up a buzzer beating lay up to take the game 68-66.

Falling short, the Lady Eagles fought extremely well with their backs up against the wall coming out from the half. Leading the Lady Eagles, Haley Meely and Zariah Tillman were once again a dynamic duo. Meely scoring 24 and Tillman scoring 19, the two went on to score 43 of the Lady Eagles 66 points. With Tillman's 19 points, she reached her 1000 career points milestone as a senior on the court.

The Lady Eagles are back in action this upcoming Wednesday, December 18^th for a road trip to face off against the Southwest Baptist University Lady Bearcats for their last game of the year.
