The #25 Women's Soccer team kicked off their 2024 season with a road trip to Jackson, Tennessee to face off against the Lindsey Wilson College Lady Blue Raiders.
The 90 minutes of play was all Lady Eagles, defeating the Blue Raiders 3-0 and opening season in exciting fashion.
Scoring in the 17
th minute of play, returning 2023 All-American
Tania Mocholi scored the Lady Eagles first goal of the season and the first of 3 against Lindsey Wilson.
Mocholi took control of the game once more in the 69
th minute as she scored her 2
nd goal of the game and put the Lady Eagles ahead 2-0 in the second half.
Laura Gieseler capped off the 3-0 win with the third goal from the Lady Eagles in the 77
th minute and secured the win.
The Lady Eagles are back in action on August 30
th at Central Methodist University for a 5:00PM kick-off.
