The #6 Men's Soccer team was on the road on September 21^st for a conference match-up against the Bethel College Threshers.  Entering the match-up 4-1, the Eagles looked to take another win over a conference opponent and improve their overall win schedule.

Quick to the punch, the Eagles were on the board first with a goal from Luis Vergara, assisted by Nemenja Vukovic in the 2^nd minute of play. That was just the start to the goal parade in the first half, scoring 3 more goals to finish out the first 45 minutes of play with a 4-0 lead.

Heading into the second half with a solid lead, the Eagles used the momentum to score one final goal in the 84^th minute of play to cap out the 90 minutes of play with a 5-0 win. The Eagles ended their day with an all-around excellent showing, with a smooth offense and a strong defensive line which only enabled the Threshers to take 6 shots.

Julian Tovar was a standout player for the Eagles, coming off the bench to score 2 goals in just 2 shots Tovar was outstanding. In goal for the Eagles, Marko Rodic earned himself 3 saves off of the 3 shots taken by the Threshers, keeping another team off of the board yet again.

The Eagles are back on the road this upcoming Wednesday as they travel to Ottawa, Kansas to face off against the Braves for a 7:30PM kick-off.
