The #6 Volleyball team was home on September 21^st for a huge Top 25 conference match-up against the #23 McPherson College Bulldogs. Going head to head with the Top 25 competitor, the Lady Eagles entered the game 15-1, while McPherson entered the match-up 10-3.

In a five-set victory, the Lady Eagles and the Lady Bulldogs were in a frequent back and forth battle. Taking the first set 25-23, the Lady Bulldogs took control of the game early, forcing the Lady Eagles to rally back in order to win the next set. Doing so, the Lady Eagles went on a 5-point run early in the second, giving way to a 25-20 2^nd set victory and tying up the game 1-1.

With a 1-1 set victory, the Lady Eagles carried the momentum into the 4^th set in order to take the 3^rd set 25-21 and give them a lead over the Lady Bulldogs. An exciting final two sets, and a Top 25 win on the table, the Lady Eagle took the 5^th set with a 15-13 victory to win the game.

With a great game from both teams, Evelyn Rohrberg and Tijana Stojiljkovic were standouts for the Lady Eagles. Rohrberg ending her 5-set play with 27 kills and Stojiljkovoc hitting .400% with 8 kills and 5 blocks. Sydney Collins led the offense in the setter roll, ending her night with 54 assists and 12 digs for the Lady Eagles.

The Eagles are back in action this upcoming Wednesday for another big conference match-up with the RV Ottawa University Lady Braves at 6:00PM.
