The #3 Men's Soccer team hosted the McPherson College Bulldogs on October 10
th in Bartlesville for a mid-season conference match-up. The Eagles entered the match 6-0-1 in conference and look to remain undefeated with a strong offensive showing against the Bulldogs.
Scoring first in the 21
st minute, the Eagles put together a strong drive with a pass from
Tylor Guerrero to
Julian Tovar for the first goal of the game. Maintaining strong possessions and defending the Bulldogs extremely well, the Eagles scored again quickly in the 29
th minute with a from
Biel Campo, assisted by
Mateja Bozic. Fighting back in the 33
rd minute, the Bulldogs put their first goal on the board from Ryoga Oki.
A 2-1 lead at half, the Eagles erupted with 45 minutes to go; scoring 4 goals in the next 30 minutes of play. Multiple subs and moving pieces helped the Eagles to a solid victory over the Eagles, as well as another hat trick from
Biel Campo. In goal for the Eagles, Stefan Shneck was superb as he only allowed 1 goal and accumulated 5 saves. Taking home their 7
th conference win with a final score of 7-1, the Eagles improve to 7-0-1 in conference play and 9-0-3 overall.
The Eagles face off against the University of Saint Mary Spires this upcoming Wednesday here in Bartlesville as they continue on with conference play.
