OKWU men's soccer continued their dominant campaign with a 3-1 victory over Bellevue, extending their unbeaten streak and improving to 12-0-3 overall.
The Eagles struck first in the 14th minute when Biel Campo found the back of the net off a crisp assist from Ryunsokue Masuzuka. Though Bellevue answered with a goal in the 28th minute, OKWU responded with poise and precision in the second half.
Julian Tovar reclaimed the lead for the Eagles in the 49th minute, finishing a well-orchestrated play assisted by Nemanja Vukovic and Campo. Adrian Mejia sealed the win in the 72nd minute, converting another setup from Campo, who finished the night with one goal and two assists.
Oklahoma Wesleyan outshot Bellevue 27-5, including 14 shots on goal. Tylor Guerrero and Biel Campo led the offensive charge with a combined 9 shots and 6 on target. Goalkeeper Stefan Schenk held firm, allowing just one goal without needing a save.
The Eagles also dominated set pieces, earning 14 corner kicks to Bellevue's zero, and controlled possession with relentless pressure throughout both halves.
