OKWU women's soccer team continued their dominant KCAC campaign with a 2-0 win over Tabor College. The Lady Eagles, now 9-1-1 overall and 6-0-0 in conference play, showcased their depth and defensive strength in a match that kept their unbeaten conference streak alive.
The first goal came in the 29th minute from Wendy Jimenez, and the second goal came in the 75th minute from Isabelle Simoneau, who also recorded 3 shots on goal in a strong offensive showing.
On the defensive end, goalkeeper Alessandra Martinez was a wall in net, making 7 saves and earning the clean sheet. The back line, led by Elise Lofnertz, Kristen Bruhns, and Kayla Herrera, kept Tabor's offense quiet throughout the match.
