OKWU women's soccer team closed out their dominant regular season with a resounding 4-0 victory over York, improving their record to 16-1-1 overall and a perfect 13-0-0 in conference play.

The Lady Eagles wasted no time asserting control, outshooting York 24 to 1 and earning six corner kicks while allowing none. The defense was impenetrable, with goalkeeper Alessandra Martinez making a key save to preserve the shutout.

Laura Gieseler opened the scoring in the 24th minute, setting the tone for a second-half surge. Frederiekke Nielsen was unstoppable, netting two goals in quick back to back minutes with assists from Wendy Jimenez and Linn Joelsson, who also added a goal of her own in the 63rd minute.

The Lady Eagles' relentless pressure and precise passing overwhelmed York, not allowing the panthers to settle back into the game. With this win, Oklahoma Wesleyan solidifies its standing atop the conference and continues its pursuit of postseason glory.
