The Oklahoma Wesleyan men's soccer team delivered a masterful performance Wednesday evening, defeating Ottawa University 5–0 to capture the 2025 KCAC Tournament Championship at Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, Kansas. The Eagles showcased their trademark balance of precision and energy to secure back-to-back tournament titles.
Oklahoma Wesleyan struck early when Nemanja Vukovic found the net in the 6th minute off an assist from Juan Morenoh. Vukovic doubled the lead in the 22nd minute, this time assisted by Adrian Mejia, giving the Eagles complete control of the pace.
Freshman standout Julian Tovar extended the lead to 3–0 in the 35th minute with help from Santiago Mejía Gomez, then added another goal just before halftime, his 13th of the season, to make it 4–0 heading into the break.
In the second half, Adrian Mejia joined the scoring sheet, netting his 13th goal of the year in the 51st minute off a pass from Biel Campo, sealing the 5–0 victory.
Defensively, goalkeeper Marko Rodic anchored the back line with two saves to earn the shutout, while defenders Luis Vergara and Santiago Mejía Gomez helped stifle Ottawa's six total shots. Oklahoma Wesleyan finished with 12 shots and eight on goal, maintaining dominance on both ends of the field.
With the victory, the Eagles (18-0-3) add another conference championship to an already impressive season that included clinching the regular season title and securing their automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament. Oklahoma Wesleyan's consistency and depth continue to make them one of the top teams in the country.
