OKWU women's volleyball delivered a statement of win on Friday afternoon, sweeping McPherson in the Semi-finals of the KCAC Tournament. This victory was more than just advancing in the postseason; it was redemption.

Earlier in the regular season, the Eagles fell to McPherson, a loss that stung and fueled their competitive spirits. On the tournament stage, OKWU showcased resilience and composure, proving that adversity can sharpen a team's edge.
The Lady Eagles dominated offensively, hitting .308 as a team. Evelyn Rohrberg led the charge with 16 kills and three aces, while Maia Rubio added 13 kills. Setter Sydney Collins orchestrated the attack with 44 assists, keeping McPherson's defense on its heels. Defensively, Maria Caycedo anchored the back row with 20 digs, ensuring the Bulldogs never found rhythm.
After cruising through the first two sets, Oklahoma Wesleyan faced a late push in the third but held firm to complete the sweep. The Lady Eagles will now face off against Bethel College in the KCAC Tournament Championship; with impressive players and team chemistry OKWU is looking to dominate once more and claim their title.
