The Eagles trailed by one point at halftime, 41-40, but surged in the second half, outscoring the Rams to seal the win. Leading the charge was Temaje Izuagbe, who delivered an efficient performance with 19 points, shooting 7-of-8 from the field, including 1-of-1 from beyond the arc, and grabbing 3 rebounds.
The Eagles dominated the glass, pulling down 43 rebounds to Texas Wesleyan's 30, and capitalized on turnovers, scoring 28 points off their opponents' mistakes. Oklahoma Wesleyan's bench also made a significant impact, contributing 29 points to the team's total.
