The Women's Basketball team hosted the Ottawa University Lady Braves in a conference match-up here in Bartlesville. Looking to regain some ground in the conference after falling in their previous match, the Lady Eagles needed to stay strong against the Lady Braves as they did the first time they played them earlier this season.
Starting off the match-up as a back and forth battle, the Eagles came out on top in the first quarter, outscoring the Braves 10-9. Out of the huddle, the Lady Eagles came out shooting, take advantage of every drive and outscoring the Braves 19-15. Heading into the locker room with a 29-24 lead, the Lady Eagles need to come back ready to go in order to maintain a lead over the quick Braves.
Both teams coming out of the locker room firing, led to both teams highest scoring quarter with the Eagles scoring 21, while the Braves scored 20. Taking a 50-44 lead early in the fourth, the Lady Eagles were able to gain momentum and build a quicker pace than the Braves. With 3 minutes left & an eleven-point lead, the Eagles were smooth sailing and consistent.
Keeping a strong pace and forcing turnovers over the Braves, the Eagles took home their 10
th conference win on the season with a final score of 67-58.

Jaelin Glass led the Lady Eagles offensively, with Meely scoring 15 and Glass scoring 11.
The Eagles are on the road this upcoming weekend as they head to York, Nebraska for a match-up against the York University Panthers as regular season play draws to a close.
