Men's Tennis fell short 6/1 against John Brown University on Saturyda, February 16th after relocation due to the weather, the Eagles played its home opener at Hillcrest Country Club (indoors) on Saturday morning.
 
The pair of freshman Bartlett/Cash picked up their first win of the spring season at #3. After a long battle at #1 and #2, the Eagles lost the doubles point and headed to singles 1/0 down.
 
The overall score does not reflect the hard fought battles on all courts in single play. Manuel Espinal (Freshman, Dominican Republic) came back strong after dropping first set to bring the only point to the Eagles in a tough battle.
 
OKWU Tennis would like to thank Hillcrest Country Club for hosting their home opener and the all community that came to support the Eagles all day in a cold and rainy weather.
 
The Eagles will travel to Abilene, TX to play three matches (McMurry, Hardin Simmons and Howard Payne) in their annual Texas road trip this upcomig week.
