Women's Tennis beat John Brown University 6/1 on Saturday, February 15th. After relocation due to the weather, women's tennis played its home opener at Hillcrest Country Club (indoors) on Saturday morning.
 
After a strong showing in doubles (win at #1 & #2), the Lady Eagles started single play up 1/0 against the Golden Eagles. With quick victories at #1 and #3 singles, Jewel Henderson clinched the victory for the Eagles at #2 singles. In a battle, Nikoleta Aleksic (Senior, Belgrade, Serbia) picked up the last win of the day for the Lady Eagles.
 
OKWU Tennis would like to thank Hillcrest Country Club for hosting their home opener and the all community that came to support the Eagles all day in a cold and rainy weather.
 
Women's Tennis will travel to Abilene, TX to play three matches (McMurry, Hardin Simmons and Howard Payne) in their annual Texas road trip this upcoming week!
