The Lady Eagles lost to Hardin Simmons 6/1 in a long and tough battle on Saturday afternoon at Abilene, TX. 

After losing the double point while winning at #2 doubles, the Lady Eagles started off really strong in singles. With a win in two sets, Jewel Henderson (Sophomore) added a point in the winning column. Unfortunately, the three loses in three sets at #1, #3 & 4 positions let Hardin Simmons clinched the victory on their home courts after a long battle on every lines. 

The Lady Eagles will have a day off on Sunday before the second match of their Texas road trip against Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Tx.
