The Women's Basketball team was here in Mueller Sports Center tonight for a KCAC match-up against the Southwestern College Moundbuilders. Looking to move up in the KCAC rankings, the Lady Eagles went out and put on a show for their home crowd, defeating the Moundbuilders 82-62.
A quick start from the Lady Eagles led to an all-around offensive display throughout the first quarter. Outscoring the Moundbuilders 26-22 after the first 10 minutes of play, the Moundbuilders came out shooting in the second. In a back and forth battle in the second, both teams ended their first half of play all tied up.
All tied up until the fourth quarter, the Lady Eagles erupted; back to back steals and multiple shots beyond the arc allowed the Lady Eagles to outscore the Moundbuilders 27-8. With that, the Lady Eagles secured their 8
th conference victory and improved to 8-9 in conference and 11-12 overall.

Rashaan Smith, 6 different Lady Eagles were in double digit scoring, to make the win and all-around team effort.
Tatiana Gilford was a game changer for the Lady Eagles, forcing quick transitions and accumulating 4 steals defensively.
The Lady Eagles are back in Mueller Sports Center this upcoming Saturday as they take on another KCAC opponent, the Sterling College Lady Warriors for a 1:00PM tip-off.
