Sweeping the Lady Braves in the Regular Seasonal, the Lady Eagles went into the tournament strong and looked to take some upsets from higher seeds.

Game 1 vs. Ottawa University (L, 5-1)

Unable to get runs on the board, the Lady Eagles surrendered 2 runs in the first inning to give the Lady Braves an early lead. 3 runs from the Braves in the 2nd gave them a 5-0 lead with 5 innings left of play. Fighting back in the fourth after back to back hits and a run scored, the Lady Eagles trailed 5-1 heading into the 5th.
Trailing heading into the 7th, the Lady Eagles had there backed up to a wall and were unable to produce. Falling to Ottawa, the Lady Eagles entered the loser's bracket and were set to face off against the Kansas Wesleyan University Coyotes later that day.

Game 2 vs. Kansas Wesleyan University (W, 9-1)

After a loss to 4th seeded Ottawa, the Lady Eagles were facing off against the 7th seeded Kansas Wesleyan University Lady Coyotes. A back and forth ball game until the 3rd, the Lady Eagles were able to string together hits in order to score two in the top of the 3rd. Scoring another in the 4th, the Lady Eagles took the 3-0 lead just in time as the Coyotes rallied back to score 2 in the bottom of the 4th.
Scoring from both teams through the sixth, both teams were forced off the field due to lightning in the area. Looking to continue a 5-4 game the next day, the Lady Eagles came back and scored 4 in the 7th in order to take the 9-4 win and advance in the KCAC tournament.

Game 3 vs. Avila University (L, 5-1)

Taking home a victory over the 7th seeded KWU Coyotes brought the Lady Eagles to a match-up with the 3rd seeded Avila University Eagles. A hot start from Avila in the box gave them the quick 4-0 lead heading into the 4th.
A strong day in the circle for Avila as well, enable the Lady Eagles to score on in the 3rd and lose momentum in the later half of the game. Matching Avila 8 hits, the Lady Eagles were unable to score runners in scoring position which ultimately led to the Lady Eagles falling to Avila.
The Lady Eagles conclude their season with the loss to Avila, after a very successful year on the field. Ending the year 33-18 & 18-8 in conference, the Lady Eagles have much to look back on and be proud of this 2025 season.

Congratulations on another successful season.
