OKWU Women's Soccer continued their dominant run through conference play with a resounding 5-0 win over Ottawa University. The Lady Eagles, now 6-1-1 overall and 3-0-0 in conference, controlled the match from start to finish, scoring once in the first half and adding four more goals in the second to seal the shutout. 

Laura Gieseler was the star of the night. She opened the scoring in the 27th minute off a pass from Tessa Edwards, then added two more goals in the second half, including one in the 67th minute that capped her stellar performance. Gieseler also assisted on the final goal of the match, setting up Frederiekke Nielsen, who found the back of the net in the 69th minute. 

Wendy Jimenez contributed with a goal of her own, converting a penalty kick in the 65th minute. Goalkeeper Alessandra Martinez anchored the defense, playing all 90 minutes and making a key save to preserve the clean sheet. 

The Lady Eagles outshot Ottawa 22–2, with 14 shots on goal compared to Ottawa's lone attempt on target. With another convincing win under their belt, OKWU will look to extend their unbeaten conference streak when they face Bethel College on September 27th at 5:00 PM at home. GO EAGLES!
