The #10 Women's Soccer team was on their home turf for another KCAC match-up as they looked to face off against the Bethel College Lady Threshers. Starting off conference 2-0 with two dominate performances, the Lady Eagles looked to keep it going with another win against a KCAC opponent.
The first half of the match was all
Laura Gieseler, scoring three goals in the first 25 minutes of play and earning herself a quick hat trick. Leading quickly and ending the half with a 3-0 lead, the Lady Eagles were back and more aggressive offensively as they drove the ball up field more quickly. Putting 4 more goals into the net with 30 minutes left, the Lady Eagles to an even hastier 7-0 lead over the Lady Threshers.
Taking even further control of the contest, the Lady Eagles scored 3 more games and took home a 10-0 win over the Lady Threshers. A hat trick from
Laura Gieseler and one from
Frederiekke Nielsen led to the Lady Eagles taking a huge win over the Lady Threshers. In goal for the Lady Eagles,
Alessandra Martinez was defensively sound, keeping the Lady Threshers off the board with 5 saves.
The Lady Eagles are back in Bartlesville this upcoming Wednesday, as they look to face off against another KCAC opponent, the Southwestern College Moundbuilders.
