OKWU women's volleyball team continued their impressive early-season run with a commanding 3-0 sweep over Southwestern Christian University. The Lady Eagles, now sitting at 6-1 on the season, showcased their depth and offensive firepower in a match that left little doubt about their dominance. 
From the opening serve, OKWU controlled the tempo, taking the first set 25-17. The second set was even more lopsided, with the Lady Eagles cruising to a 25-9 win. They closed out the match with a 25-15 victory in the third set, never trailing and allowing no lead changes throughout the contest. 
Senior Evelyn Rohrberg led the charge with a stellar performance, racking up 20 kills on 31 attempts with a blistering .548 hitting percentage. Tijana Stokiljkovic added 12 kills with a .600 hitting percentage, while Sydney Collins orchestrated the offense with 32 assists and contributed 13 digs on defense. OKWU finished the match with a team hitting percentage of .390. 
Defensively, the Lady Eagles were equally sharp, recording 60 digs and 8 block assists. Their aggressive serving also paid off, tallying 5 service aces coming from Jordan Isbell, Mia Rubio, and Maria Luisa Caycedo keeping Southwestern Christian on their heels throughout the match. 
With this win, Oklahoma Wesleyan continues to build momentum heading into the Waxahachie Tournament. Their next matchup will be against the University of Science and Arts on September 13th at 3 PM. The Lady Eagles will look to extend their winning streak and further solidify their standing as a force in the conference. Go Eagles!
