With a snowy end of January, the Eagles shifted their schedule for a Monday match-up with KCAC opponent, the Tabor College Bluejays. In their previous contest, the Eagles defeated the Bluejays by 19 points and looked to stay on the same path during this Monday match-up. 

A slow start for the Eagles, gave way to a large Tabor lead of 5-12 lead. A battle back in the remaining 13 minutes, the Eagles were able to close the gap and end the half trailing 38-34. Needing a quick battle back in the second, the Eagles out scored the Bluejays quickly 15-7 in the first 5 minutes of play out of the locker room. Taking the lead with 14 minutes left of play, the Eagles rallied back to bring the score to 49-45. 

With 9 minutes left on the clock, the Eagles took a 61-53 lead over the Bluejays, as the Bluejays looked to stay in reach of the Eagles. Back in reach, Tabor cut the Eagle lead 63-59 with 6 minutes to go, forcing the Eagles to quicken their pace and increase their defense. 3:30 left on the clock and a 68-68 game, the Eagles backs were against the wall and offense was key to a win. 

Yashi McKenzie was fierce with a minute left, with back to back layups giving the Eagles a 74-71 lead. Two free throw makes from Humberto Kentish Jr. gave way to a 76-71 lead with 20 seconds left, followed by a comeback layup from the Bluejays to bring the game to a tight 78-76. The Eagles took the 78-76 win over the Bluejays as 3 Eagles ended the game in double digits. 

The Eagles are back in Mueller this upcoming Wednesday for another KCAC match-up with the Avila University Eagles with a 7:30PM tip-off.
