The Women's Basketball team hosted the Bethany College Lady Swedes on January 31st as they looked to overcome their fall to Avila on Wednesday. 

Starting off quickly, the Lady Eagles were offensively sounds, outscoring the Lady  Swedes 20-13 while creating significant momentum heading into the second quarter. Slowing in the second, the Lady Eagles scored 10 and secured the half time lead of 30-24. 

Keeping it tight in the third, the Lady Swedes closed the gap on the Lady Eagles by putting up 15 while trailing by 6. Ending the third with a 46-39 lead the Lady Eagles, the Lady Eagles slowed significantly, giving way to a Lady Swedes offensive force. Although a strong start, the fourth quarter fall was the ultimate falloff to the Lady Swedes. 

Falling 60-53, three Lady Eagles scored in double digits; Khamille Warr, Khassidy Warr, and Gracie Alexander. 

The Lady Eagles hit the road for their next match-up as they travel to Winfield, Kansas to face off against the Southwestern College Lady Moundbuilders on Wednesday, February 4th.
