Lady Eagles Earn Home Win Over Oklahoma Panhandle State

Bartlesville, OK – 

The Oklahoma Wesleyan University women's basketball team earned a solid 66–45 victory over Oklahoma Panhandle State on Tuesday afternoon, December 16, at Mueller Sports Center. The win moves the Lady Eagles to 6–6 overall. 

Oklahoma Wesleyan set the tone early, using balanced scoring and defensive pressure to take a 17–12 lead after the opening quarter. The Lady Eagles continued to build momentum in the second period, holding Panhandle State to just 10 points while extending their advantage to 32–22 at halftime. 

The Lady Eagles maintained control in the third quarter, outscoring the Aggies 15–7 behind consistent play in the paint and disciplined defense. Oklahoma Wesleyan limited Panhandle State to just 14.3 percent shooting in the period, pushing the lead to 47–29 heading into the final quarter. 

Oklahoma Wesleyan closed the game with an efficient fourth period, shooting over 57 percent from the field while maintaining defensive intensity to secure the 21-point victory. The Lady Eagles finished the contest shooting 45.8 percent from the floor and held Panhandle State to 32.1 percent shooting overall. 

Khassidy Warr led the Lady Eagles with 13 points and five rebounds, while Sophia Regalado added 13 points off the bench on an efficient 6-of-9 shooting performance. Taliyah Harris contributed 10 points and five rebounds, and Gracie Alexander had seven points as Oklahoma Wesleyan showcased its depth with 29 bench points in the win. 

The Lady Eagles will look to build on this performance as they continue through the heart of their season.
