Women's Basketball hosted the Evangel University Lady Valor on February 18th for their final home game of the year. Looking for a turn around, the Lady Eagles put up a huge fight and showed excellent grit against the 1 seeded Lady Valor. 

Scoring a solid 19 points in the first quarter, the Lady Eagles played quick as the Lady Valor just outreached them with 21. Staying right with the Lady Valor, the Lady Eagles put up 16 in the second quarter, ending the first half trailing by a minimal 5 points. 

In need of a high scoring quarter, both teams came out of the locker room a bit cold, scoring their lowest in the third quarter. Keeping up one on one and keeping the final 10 minutes close, the Lady Eagles fell within the last 4 minutes of play. Just out of reach with a minute left of play, the Lady Eagles fell to the Lady Valor 75-68. 

In the close loss, a season high 4 Lady Eagles were in double digits; Gracie Alexander, Khamille Warr, Khassidy Warr, and Ashlyn Baker. Khamille Warr was stellar on both sides of the floor for the Lady Eagles, just shy of a double-double with 9 rebounds and 12 points on the night. 

The Lady Eagles are on the road for their final conference game this upcoming Saturday as they look to travel to McPherson, Kansas to face off against the McPherson College Lady Bulldogs.
