the Oklahoma Wesleyan University Cheer program stepped onto the competition floor for the very first time in school history — marking a defining moment not just for our team, but for OKWU athletics as a whole.

This season represents the launch of the university's first competitive cheer program ever, and the revival of a cheer program after several years without one. Built completely from the ground up, this team was formed with vision, grit, and a commitment to excellence. From recruiting the first athletes to establishing training standards and culture, every element of this program has been intentionally developed to set a strong foundation for the future.

Taking the floor was more than just a performance — it was the beginning of a legacy. Our athletes competed with heart, discipline, and unity, representing Oklahoma Wesleyan University with pride. What started as an idea has quickly become a movement, and this team has set the tone for a future filled with growth, momentum, and championship potential.
