Lady Eagles Land Four on All-KCAC Teams, Mongin Named Coach of the Year

Bartlesville, OK-

The Oklahoma Wesleyan Lady Eagles women's tennis team earned strong recognition from the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference, placing four student-athletes on the All-KCAC teams while head coach Julia Mongin was named KCAC Coach of the Year.

Leading the way for OKWU, Jewel Henderson and Rocio Espinal were named First Team All-KCAC after standout seasons that helped drive the Lady Eagles to one of their most successful years in program history. Both players consistently delivered in key matches and were instrumental in OKWU's undefeated conference run.

The Lady Eagles also saw Nancy Henderson and Madeline Henderson earn Second Team All-KCAC honors, adding to the team's depth of recognition. Their contributions throughout the season played a key role in the team's overall success and consistency across the lineup.

Highlighting the honors, head coach Julia Mongin was named KCAC Coach of the Year after guiding the Lady Eagles to a dominant season and a conference championship. Under her leadership, Oklahoma Wesleyan continued to build on its momentum, earning a second consecutive trip to the NAIA National Tournament.

These honors highlight the strength of the Lady Eagles and cap off a historic season for Oklahoma Wesleyan women's tennis.
