The Lady Eagles were back on the road this evening, looking to face off against the Oklahoma City University Stars in the Stars Invitational in OKC, OK. Trailing early, the Lady Eagles quickly fell in the first set 25-17, carrying into the second set with a 20-25 loss. 

Coming alive in the third, the Lady Eagles bounced back quickly, jumping ahead to a 4-0 start and a solid turnaround. Taking the second set 28-26, the Lady Eagles went into the fourth set with their backs against the wall. Starting off strong, the Lady Eagles dwindled as the Stars took advantage of errors at the net and took the lead. The Lady Eagles fell to the Stars in the forth set 25-20, taking the loss 3-1. 

Andy Santa Cruz was the spark for the Lady Eagles, earning herself a double-double with 20 kills adn 18 digs. Alongside Santa Cruz, Malu Cacyedo showed grit in the libero spot, accumulating a season high 25 digs in the back court for the Lady Eagles.

The Lady Eagles are back on the court tomorrow for a quick turnaround in OKC as they look to face off against Texas A&M Texarkana at 11:30AM and Wayland Baptist at 4:30PM.
