Box Score 2 The Oklahoma Wesleyan Lady Eagles started the week off with a conference double header against the visiting York College Panthers on April 26th. The Lady Eagles ended the day with the sweep and improved their record to 28-14.
Game 1 of the double header was won in favor of the Lady Eagles 8-4. Leading the Lady Eagles at the plate was DH Lindy Alexander going 1-3 with 3 RBI and short stop Ashley Stone going 3-4 with 1 RBI and 1 run scored. On the mound for the Lady Eagles, Tahlor Stefek threw 5.1 innings, giving up 3 earned runs, striking out 5, and gave way to Mazze Nelle closing the came in the 5th and 6th.
Game 2 was a complete game win for Abbey Ely in the circle. Ely threw all 7 innings, allowed 6 hits, 3 earned runs, and struck out 6. Up to bat for the Lady Eagles, Tahlor Stefek and Lindy Alexander each strung together timely hits to brings in multiple runs. Stefek went 3-3 with 1 RBI and Alexander went 2-4 with 3 RBI.
Next on the agenda for the Lady Eagles is a home series against the visiting McPherson College Bulldogs on April 27th in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
